I attempted to register for fastvair and for some unexplained reason, my application was denied. I've never been denied application to a Yahoo Group before in my life and it was shocking, and frankly pissed me off, to not be granted access. When online is the only available avenue for research, options are limited and its not like generations are waiting in line to drive up the value of these cars.

I tried twice and got rejected twice. Clarks told me that no one ever got denied and they are surprised that I did. I even got an email from the mod there, Matt Nall, about the site being for RACING not research and restoration - and that I should just stick with Corvairforum. What a dick. Eff 'em.

So, I'm back to asking if any site has detailed engine tuning (ala making your engine purr like a Yenko) like those prima donnas supposedly do at fastvairs.

Matt, Ever since the days you were testing gas turbine generators out on the "Patio" test cell at Solar, you've been a trusted friend and source of help and information for me and many others. Thank you for keeping the wheels on CCF for these many years.

Thanks Matt for all the support. I vote we should double his pay. Or at least buy him some new shoes from the lady in China.

There is a large group of very knowledgeable posters on this forum ( I think most of you know who you are), but I believe Matt is the glue that holds it all together. Thanks, not just to Matt, but all who make this site what it is. Matt, all your hard work and passion is appreciated!

I agree! Thanks, Matt! I sent a PM to Matt when I was having trouble uploading a pic and received a prompt, helpful and polite reply. He even fixed the problem for me so I didn't have to do the upload again.
