That is a bit high, I would estimate $150-200. If they are being supplied with a factory quick steering box, maybe a little more.

Seth, et. al. I sold my QR box for $600 about 8 months ago- probably could have gotten $700 but I was also offered $650 for my fast arms- I elected to keep them and use them with a Std. box. So I think the market for the Arms is a bit higher than 2-300. Just my .o2 cents.

Seth, your Factory QS arm price is from the 1970's! I see them go for $500-$700 these days!

A lot cheaper just to make your own and improve the Ackerman at the same time.

True.
Or a person could just buy some MattNall Quick-Steer Arms.
But, considering how more often than not, Junkman is SELLING parts rather than Buying them, I would be inclined to believe that he is trying to determine Market Value for something that he already possesses.

I would agree that he is attempting to determine a FAIR Value for an item he may already have so both the buyer and seller are happy with the price point.
I have purchased a few items from him after making an offer I was comfortable with, that was accepted.
My thoughts are that he is trying to sort through years of accumulated parts and find good homes for them while getting a reasonable price for them.

And that is another fair option.
But some discriminating buyers desire to have 100 point concours cars, AND performance Handling.
Hence, we will always see someone willing to pay the higher cost of "Factory Parts".
Both options have their merits. thumbs up cool smiley

I was thinking he found a large case of them and is trying to figure out how to move them without lowering the going market price.

Do what I do on eBay. Sell them a couple of months apart until they are gone. Usually works for me. drinking smiley
