Shipping a large but not heavy corvair part from west to east

Has anyone any suggestions on how to ship an nos right fender from the west coast to Niagara Falls, New York. cost effectively. Grey Hound bus is no good because I cannot cross the border currently as it is closed due to the pandemic. Any other effective means to ship these days? By the way, if it is received in Niagara Falls, I can secure the package later.

Hello John: I see one CORSA member in Niagara Falls. I am not familiar with the geography of the area so there may be others in nearby towns. I might suggest you contact any CORSA members near there and ask for help. Just an idea but I know the club members tend to help each other when they can. Good luck.

You do not have a Sig-line with your location, so your post is a little confusing.
Package going from "West Coast" to Niagra Falls NY.
Not quite sure of the problem ?
Since you state that "I cannot cross the border currently" and "if it is received in Niagara Falls, I can secure the package later."
Is it safe to assume that you live in Canada?

What Matt said...talk to Fastenal.

You have to wait for their delivery.

Within the company shipping system.

But the prices do beat everything.

Thanks for the suggestion about Fastenal. I will drop in to see them today to learn more about their service. More importantly, I hope the Fastenal store State side will be willing. Then again, if the Border could be opened up it would be even better. Signed a corvair enthusiast north of the friendly border!

BC is pushing VERY HARD for a full years closure.
So much for "The Friendly Border" part too.
Washingtonians traveling in BC are being harassed by Canadians.
They are being cursed at, told to "Go Home", and even having the cars "Keyed" with anti-American statements.
The really stupid thing about it is that if they are up in Canada, then it should be quite obvious that that Canadian GOV. approved their "ESSENTIAL REASON" for crossing the border.
Item #2. Most likely, if they are up in Canada at this time, they are quite likely a Dual-Citizen.
They have just as much right to be there as the person telling them to "Go Home".
It is a truly sad situation.
This bad behavior by a few, is quickly brewing up a real Anti-Canadian sentiment in our little community.
I hear people talking about how they can't wait for the border to re-open now.
NO, it is NOT because they want to go to Canada.
It is purely because they are looking forward to reciprocating the HATRED back onto Canadians, and letting them see how it feels. sad smiley
It does not help that the Canadian Media has fomented this behavior, by suggesting that Canadians "Shame Americans into going home." hot smiley
