Was the PPG paint you went with their Deltron or Omni brand?

The sample sprayed was Deltron. I used that system on a 65 Corsa 30 years ago and it still looks great, so I'll probably go with that.

Deltron is the premium stuff. Good choice. Was the final color a match to sample or did PPG have a formula for Marina Blue? I'm going to be painting my car in its original Nantucket blue and checked with my supplier yesterday and was told that they had a formula for Nantucket blue (PPG 13349) but it was only available in their Omni brand which is the PPG "value" paint.

My understanding is that they have the formula. They must have done some work to keep it accurate with the switch to basecoat/clearcoat systems.

I also have the PPG and Diamont (BASF/RM) color chip sheets from 1966. I have not compared the PPG yet, but the RM match is very close.
