Not sure why you want to raise the front, most Vairs are low in the rear. That being said, my rear was low and this is what I used. I modified it with a box cutter to make the part the the upper surface convex, or the shape of the coil, as opposed to concave. That will give you about twice the lift as sliding it between the coils. Also, the front of the Vair is so light that high pressure gas shocks would give you that much lift.

When I bought my Corsa, it had chopped springs and was way too low in the front. I bought some generic spacers from summit that got the car up to a reasonable height. Ultimately I installed Clark's HD springs all around (highly recommend). Just make careful measurements of the coil diameter (I'd measure my old spacers but I'm too lazy to go looking for them). I think the lower arm length to spring position ratio is somewhere around 4/3 to 3/2, so for a 3/4" lift, you'll need a ~1/2 spring spacer.

I came across the spacers I used on the front end of my Corsa. They are Global West 1102. Link below. Based on the wear marks the diameter of this spacer is a tad too big. The wear marks are biased to the inner diameter of the picket. However, they worked fine as far as I could tell.
