Talked to the seller...this is a Chris Shade car.

If you know anything about Chris that is a big deal.

Nice car.
I would like to see under the goop on the body tag rivets and also the ID number tag. Looks a little bit like a rebody trick I have seen.

If I had a place to store... I mite be kinda interested!!!

Nothing and everything. Chris Shade is a (Corvair) used car dealer who also happens to be very honest (and Christian) in Nebraska. A very nice pleasant guy and one I have enjoyed doing business with. He also is into autocross and racing and has an extremely nice Yenko Stinger. Plus he is originally from Colorado where his father still lives. Anything else you want to know?

Thanks Tim, that about covers it. Sounds like a good person to have in the back pocket. I'm trying to convince my son's to buy a Corvair, and they all live in Nebraska.

Be a shame to mess up that original factory dum-dum placed on the body tag rivets if you don't need to. Don't see that very often these days. smiling smiley

Yep he's in Hastings Nebraska just down the street from my buddy's HotRod Shop. Nice man for sure

My name is Mike Worrell living in southern Iowa my vairs are a 64 2dr convertible monza 900 with 110 motor 4 speed light yellow with blk interior. Then a few months ago I got a 65 2 Dr convertible monza 900 with 110 motor 4 speed
Also light yellow with blk interior. Not sure what gear ratio as of now I'll have a look and up date. I really like them both but really liking the 65. They really made a lot of changes in a 1 year difference ????
