How can you tell a 65 4-speed transmission support from a 66-69 ?
What are the noticeable differences ?

65 attaches with one 7/16 bolt on one side and 2 3/8 bolts on the other side.
66 attaches with 4 3/8 bolts.

And by "attaches" Jim means from the bracket to the transmission.

The 3 speed transmission support bracket is the same as the 4 speed for 66-69.

The '66 thru '9 trans is longer so the crossmember has a noticeable "jog" in it to allow for the extra length. The '65 is straight.
