A suggestion on Clark's shipping - and they fixed my issue

I recently ordered some small parts from Clark's on the phone. I wasn't sure if the parts would fit the small USPS flat rate box and I asked to have the order shipped the least expensive way.
A week later the parts arrived with UPS fees of $17.30 in a box SMALLER than the USPS flat rate box. The flat rate box would have been about $8.00 and taken 3 days (coast to coast).
I dropped Clark's an email about this and got a nice response saying my order did indeed have a note to "Ship the cheapest way" and Clark's would credit me the difference between the UPS AND USPS rates. They said they are very busy and someone missed the note.
I'm happy with the resolution from Clark's.
Next time on small items I'll say "Ship in the small USPS flat rate box unless it won't fit". I'd suggest others do the same, especially on long distance shipping.
