it is a 2 bbl manifold from engineered induction company from back in the 70's I believe. it was for a Rochester 2GC 2 bbl carb. I got it from a forum member.

I do believe the 2gc has the same bolt pattern as a Stromberg WW. Might go well with a Turbo. Eapecially if the ignition control is good. Could Introuble you to measure from the base of the throttle body to the air filter flange? Did you use the "master kit" that comes the pump and various bits and pieces?

had a question about the linkage setup

first off need to give credit where due.
I did not design this myself, I used Roger Parents 2 carb linkage for inspiration and for 80% of the parts needed. it was installed on the carbs(excellent setup) I might add.

had to fab a mount on the outside to support the shaft out of aluminum
fabbed a bracket for carb side from heavy sheet metal. black on side of mount to manifold.

the original throttle rod from the trans bracket needed to be bent up to around a 40% angle.

that's pretty much it

Good afternoon all
been awhile

busy with life and covid (argggg)

hope everyone is hanging in there.

time for an update.

Have been running her as much as possible in the last few months.
2000 to 3000 miles
several 200 mile trips lots of around town ( daily driver duty )

Have had absolutely zero issues that could not be tuned away.

my impressions

Drivability -- great both around town w/AC and highway speeds (70 to 80 usually)
cold and hot starts real good
fuel mileage better then with carbs maybe 4 to 5 mpg
best deal though is it is now tuned to run real good on regular gas (87octane)

around hear that is around 60 cents a gallon difference.

I am real pleased with the way everything worked out

by the way did not have to call Holley support at all
was able get all the info I needed from there message board or
from a company named EFI System PRO

did work with one of there tuners to get it close enough for me to take over

Hi Hank,

Are you using the stock Corviar distributor or controlling timing with the ECU? If ECU based I'd be curious what you ignition advance table looks like. I'm working on my own EFI setup using Megasquirt and various OEM components. From what you report I wonder if it was worth my effort moving the injectors further down the runners on my setup. Sure would have been less effort to use the Holley system...

I am still using stock dist w/xr700 setup.

opted so far to run this way to see what it would do stand alone and so far real impressed.
will get around to ignition at a later date.

have a locked out dist with chrysler pickup and as soon as I figure out how to
get the rotor and trigger wheelin phase will try again
everything is wired, just having fun driving her as is for a while

Nice work - I've got one of the same IECO 2bbl manifolds (not installed) & have looked into exhaust heat at plenum - like a VW.
