Hey Jas, have you looked at "thumper477" 65 Monza Coupe. He is in north eastern Tennessee.

I think Jas prefers an Automatic Transmission from reading the initial posting.
It is a shame the Greenbrier wasn't listed sooner or I may have bought it instead of the convertible.

Looks more than acceptable to me also. The new gas gauge sender unit is nice (the gauge works and is accurate, right?). I see some new suspension components also.
How does it run, drive, stop, and steer?

Just a guess here, but since she is showing "his number", I would say that she has not driven it yet.
These are just pictures that the seller has sent to her.

I haven’t driven it yet, I spoke to him over the phone.

He said it’s been in 2 cars shows & won both. Has OG Radio
OG Speakers, OG Spinners. Spent $400 on each tire. Comes with Car cover
Books. But he said to be an everyday driver it needs a tune up (in general).
& he happens to be the mayor of his city in NJ.

Problem is he’s only willing to take it down to $13,000 which I understand but

IF you go look at the car, take a MAGNET and carefully check the critical area's for rust and bondo as discussed previously, especially around the lower door hinges and all along the rocker panel (below the doors) on both sides.

Since the owner is in Politics, be cautious about their answers when you ask questions.
Be sure to ask specific questions and listen closely for direct answers.
IF the seller evades a question and does not respond with direct answer, become more suspicious that you are not being told the truth.

Bump to the top.
Did you go look at the convertible most recently discussed? Just curious.
I have been looking daily and am not seeing anything advertised that has not already been posted or discussed.'''

It is my sincere hope that you find the right car for you, if you have not yet found it, it will eventually show up.

Sorry for the late reply, I started working, been busy. But no, haven’t seen it. I don’t have nearly enough so I figure it’s a bit pointless to go see a car I can’t afford. Thanks tho

Just because that is the price does not mean it's the real price. It's an asking price.

Within the above link from this forum is a car I overlooked and think could be an acceptable candidate for your consideration.

Additional photo's for the above sedan.
The asking price is well within your budget, it is advertised as having had a good amount of recent work done to it and appears to be owned by a Corvair enthusiast.

I remember this one ! Looks good, can’t remember why I didn’t get into it ? Maybe the color or the fact that I didn’t have the $$ @ the time. Definitely gonna give it a look tho. Hopefully in person eventually, ty.
