I have been doing a lot on my still new to me '66 Monza Coupe. Overhauled the primary carbs yesterday and installed viton pump cups. Also one of the secondary carbs. Tonight I will try to do the other. This weekend I also took apart the drivers door to clean it up and correct the upside down lock. That was driving me nuts!
Running really solid now.

Next I need to get into the A/C and figure out its wiring. I had it working with a jumper wire a few years ago when my buddy owned the car and I did some work to get it going. It at least cooled off then, so shouldn't be too bad. I need to find the lever for the accelerator cross shaft for the high idle. If any one has one they'll sell, let me know!

My job is considered essential, so I'm still working full time plus. However the lack of any thing else happening has opened up more car working time for me.

Yesterday I fixed the exhaust on my Audi, it's my winter driver, and yes, it snowed today here in The Winter Wonderland of Michigan.
Then I fixed the cruise control and cleaned up some engine bay electrical on the '89 Jag.
Today I plan to rebuild the gauge cluster in the Jag, and reassemble a VW Vanagon transmission for my Corvair powered project.
Meeting someone tomorrow afternoon to possibly trade my '57 Ford for a '73 Vette.

It felt like I had a flat tire when I pulled off the highway, but on inspection, no flat. Stepping on the brake caused a violent shaking and pulsation on the brake pedal. I suspected the front disc brakes, but they looked fine. I found on the rear Driver's side the shoe pads had both come off the metal shoe!

So here's the thing, I haven't been in the mood to work on my car although I did get my backup cam installed, pics did come out well. It was sunny day in the mid 60s to so I treated myself, our son and dog to a half hour+ cruise. It scary how few cars were on the road. Also, how many attractive young ladies were out walking. Lots of waves and smiles.
