AM/FM broken string

Is there an on-line GM Radio manual to coach me through installing a replacement selector string for the AM/FM radio?

My thanks,

the dial is spring loaded. I have replaced with threads etc. Just have to set the selector to its farthest point that pulls the string loop. Attach the string loop to the dial. Pull the string to the point that the dial is showing correctly in the face. Tie a knot in it. The spring tension will allow you to tug on the string a little without affecting the dial position once it tied down. Just don't over do it, else your dial will ride high in either position.

Dental floss works well as a replacement dial cord.

I'd be Leary about "waxed" dental floss, unless you know of someone who used it with success. The waxed kind may be too slippery.

Great tip. Thank you for your guidance and for sharing. Non-waxed it is then.

Braided fishing line very strong and not waxed

My name is Mike Worrell living in southern Iowa my vairs are a 64 2dr convertible monza 900 with 110 motor 4 speed light yellow with blk interior. Then a few months ago I got a 65 2 Dr convertible monza 900 with 110 motor 4 speed
Also light yellow with blk interior. Not sure what gear ratio as of now I'll have a look and up date. I really like them both but really liking the 65. They really made a lot of changes in a 1 year difference ????
