() Date: February 10, 2020 11:03AM I’m NOT a body repair guy by any stretch. Both DS and PS need replacement. Clark’s offers these in fiberglass. I searched and didn’t find much on a photo step by step. Does anyone have any documented procedure and tips that would help me? () Date: February 11, 2020 07:13AM Don't know if it will help, but there is a factory body repair booklet on the Corvanatics website. I found it an interesting read and I'm probably less of a body repair guy than you. No experience in fiberglass panels... Best of luck in your repair, John G. () Date: February 11, 2020 08:49AM Here's a good example of replacement. FC Dogleg Replacement Also I noticed that California Corvairs has at least one metal replacement in stock. It may be a better choice than the fiberglass. California Corvairs - FC Dogleg Cheers! Matt 63' Corvair 95 Panel Van Tampa Bay, FL Re: FC front door sill and dogleg full replacement Posted by:

() Date: February 11, 2020 12:21PM Calif. Corvairs may have more than indicated on line. I would recommend a check. Also, I'm a proponent of metal replacement over fiberglass. Fiberglass can be done to look nice, but it really diminishes durability and resale possibilities. Corventure Dave Re: FC front door sill and dogleg full replacement Posted by:

() Date: February 11, 2020 03:23PM I used the fiberglass dog leg and it did not fit well at all. It works but if I had it to do over I would try to find a metal one new or used. Re: FC front door sill and dogleg full replacement Posted by:

() Date: May 15, 2022 05:57AM Corvair Aficionados!!! I am in desperate need of the support panels upon which the Clark's FC dogleg fiberglass sits. I have been trying to figure our how to fab such a heavy piece to no avail. If there is a donor FC in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois or Indiana, I would be willing to drive to cut them off myself. They are heavy gauge steel though and will take a while to remove. Of course if someone has advice or other suggestions, I'd love to hear those too! I have two FCs which need this repair due to rot in an Iowa field. Smitty Re: FC front door sill and dogleg full replacement Posted by:
