Time to make or finalize your plans to attend the best regional Corvair show on the East Coast!

24 & 25 April 2020 in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountain town of Helen, Georgia

www.corvairspringfest.com

The website has been updated with the new downloadable forms to include the flyer, registration form and schedule of events.

You can also see previews of the new T-shirts and the Polo shirt.

Clarks will be attending and taking parts orders with show discounts.

Be there or be square...in a Corvair!

Unfortunately I can't make it this year, racing takes precedent this year. That is the same weekend as the driver's school at my local track and I plan on instructing that weekend.

If you are even thinking about going make your plans now! It is a Vairy good show.

I wish I could find time to drive mine there...probably get the long distance award - 937 miles is the shortest one-way route.

Website is pretty good, but a bit odd on an iPad.

Weirdest thing is that the logo/t-shirt say “Salutes Our Military” in huge letters.

That is very odd to me.

Someone has a non-Corvair related agenda.

The last couple of Springfests I was able to attend, we did have a flag ceremony where the flag was presented at the beginning of the Saturday evening proceedings.

The host clubs have done multiple things to support our military and many members have proudly served.

As David Clamp (Spectre) stated, the host clubs are all very pro-military and have many active, retired and former military members.

Since we celebrated the last 50th Corvair model anniversary for 2019 Springfest, we chose to honor our military for the 2020 Springfest.

I don’t object really, just find it odd.

Not trying to make a thing. Looks like a really cool town and gathering. Hope to make it.

Darrin,

We would love to see you attend Springfest.

It is truly a cool Corvair event in a very interesting town nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge mountains.

Good food, good beer and great Corvair friends!

Hope to see you there!

Dean

If you come to one of our local car club meetings you will also find us starting each session with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance.
Off topic and Matt can delete if necessary but I found it odd that during the impeachment hearings, each congressional session is started the same way but it's not allowed in our schools. confused smiley

Dean,
Do you think the yellow/aquamarine V-8 car will be ready for the show? Have been following your build up, but nothing beats inspecting a car in person. Think I have all the major parts for my Buick swap, but would love to see your methodical build if possible. Scott

Scott,

No, the V-8 coupe will not be ready...probably another 1-2 years because I'm taking my time and trying to enjoy the journey...and earn the money to make it happen. drinking smiley

However, you have an open invitation to visit me and get the nickle tour of my Vair shop along with seeing the progress of the V-8 coupe.
