() Date: December 02, 2019 02:17PM Any help on replacing the broken metal stud on the window mounted roller track? There are 3 nylon rollers that are on ball studs that go through the glass. I'm trying to remove the old stud without breaking the glass. Is this even possible? () Date: December 02, 2019 03:12PM It's possible... I put lots of penetrating oil on the threads and got them loose. I made a tool for unscrewing the retaining nuts from a piece of plate steel with two screws threaded through to fit in the holes. Rollers available from Clarks. () Date: December 04, 2019 01:02PM Thanks everyone. Really appreciate you folks! I could not get the washer off, so I opted for getting a used 1/4 window from a supplier. THAT worked ![]() Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
