The LINKS portion of this website

SOMEBODY:

PLEASE go through and update the 'LINKS' section of this website. When I found it I thought it would be a great tool until until I found half of what I clicked on were discontinued and dead sites. Heck, Matt Nall's website took me to AOL.I found may others by him but that one link goes to AOL and I tried several times thinking it was a fluke. BTW, a great big thanks to Seth Emerson for coming through for me again!!!! I will treat this latest part like it was gold!!!!thumbs up Scott

While we're at it, might as well delete the Events, Links, and Calendar tabs/pages entirely. None of them are ever updated and only serve to confuse the new members when they arrive here.

This site is pretty much only useful for the forum posts and tech article history that has built up over so many years. The technical knowledge base available here is top notch.

I for one, could find a links page very handy. 'Some' can be too slow to give advice, but most times not, and I always seem to be in a hurry when I need something. I wish I had more patience but I'm always trying to finish one task before going on to the next one.
Right now I'm doing three tasks at one. Waiting on headlight jewelry, a set of mirrors, and my new wooden steering wheel and adapter LOL.....And just a test to see if I can post my photos from a host....

I asked Matt to put a thread for people with parts and tools to sell. I'll be reading a thread and have no idea someone sold something. Just recently saw azdave has the clear lens.

For some reason, no one responded to the thread.... Except Matt who posted what he sells. Would be nice if there was an updated thread with who sold what.

Thanks, smileys with beer

I really think sub topics/forums/categories, and separate forum topics would be great for that like I see elsewhere, like> For Sale items only in this sub forum... Wanted Items in this sub forum, etc. etc.... This site is great but it's like throwing one sheet of paper into a pile of unorganized papers. People post and it falls where it falls. Categories would be a dream come true.thumbs up How about another cool picture of my rides...

I am always having something for sale. Just look in FAQs at the for sale link. You can also search for any discussion with the word "forsale" one word. Easy enough to find the for sale items.

It would be nice if Dave would put a for sale post out there for his lenses. Your not the only one that did not know he sold the clear lenses. All the info is hidden in the discussions about the lenses. Not a single one of the discussions has the word forsale in it and if it did it would be buried in the many post.

True. I probably should make a dedicated FS post with the latest info and not make people read through 9 pages of posts. smiling smiley

I'll have a a small update soon on my 65 rear lenses so that will be a good time to make a FS post separate from the two other threads.

Are 1960 thru 1969 tail lenses w/ or without the complete mount interchangeable on all years? It looks as if the size stayed the same, and just the style changed.

65 - 69 are the same housings. I believe 60 - 64 are smaller housings.

Thanks, Dave. Looking forward to your post. Even though I don't have any 65s. But I did get your parking light lenses.

Dave, do you also do an oil pressure gauge/modified bolt type? I found out Roger Parent does.

Thanks,
Doug

Yes, I have a few in stock. $40 including shipping to any USA address. My gauge is 0-60 PSI. The units Roger had at the Fan Belt Toss were 0-100 PSI but he may have other gauge options.
