66 Trans to Diff Bolts
Posted by: BobV66Vair ()

I read something on the Racers Forum about the bolts between the trans and diff in a 66 4-speed. I realized I bought mine apart so I didn't get the bolts. Seth mentioned that they are special bolts. Now I am worried that I don't have any bolts for it. Can someone confirm they are special (threads ?) and help me get them?

Hi Bob: common thread 7/16x14. Only 'special' is 1/2" head
(wrench size) with flange. Length of 66-9 is just under
1 1/4". I have seen plain allen head cap screws used too
with a flat washer under of course.

I have plenty but you should be able to find
closer to you.

best wishes, Steve
