Just a quick reminder to everyone.

Our Hotel Room Block is for 988 room nights.

Beyond that our members have first call on rooms 3 days before and 3 days after the convention.

But as of October 29, the Crowne Plaza has sold 488 room nights. Half our room block, more than 8 months before the convention start.

So Make Your Convention Plans early!!

Ths San Diego Corvair Club has been planning this for a LONG time and we are going to have a great time!

One very important tip: Don't wait till the last minute to make hotel reservations. San Diego Comic-Con will be less than 2 weeks after our convention. Room rates will go up astronomically before Comic-Con. Think Motel 6 at $300+ per night. Close to 200,000 people will descend on San Diego for that event.

Just made the reservations for my son and I. Last convention we attended was Tahoe 1999. Now I have a real push to get both of our cars on the road. At Tahoe we won our class in the economy run with his 62 vert with 110 PG, now that car will be in San Diego with an e-flow/b-flow turbo with holly 4bbl. My car that I WILL (forcing myself into a corner here) be bringing is a 64 Spyder coupe with a drive train that I will not disclose at this time due to my desires being hampered by time available...
