May cars are outside, one under a canopy... I leave them on 7/24. Out of12 sensors I've replaced 5 Batteries. drive the cars almost daily, otherwise the sensors shut down.
Even here on the Orgon coast / sub 80's The monitor goes blank unless I turn AC on or park in the shade,,,,but alarm still works!

Mine go blank when the car isn't moving but won't stay charged unless they are in direct sunlight and already charged.

Yup it goes to sleep... just slam the door and it wakes up showing the last pressure of each tire when you parked.

One thing that bugs me is it will display that last pressure even if the sensor isn't working. Both of my sensors that quit still showed pressure and temperature. I just noticed that the pressure and temperature never changed.

This report is a little late. Anyway I stopped at Walmart and they walked outside with their scanner and programmed the tire. No problem, no charge.

How well do they work on your trailer? I bot a set for the same reason but with no goodguys shows my trailer hasn't moved in 8 months so I haven't installed them.

No issues at all. I haven't noticed a range issue like I worried might happen. I did just put new batteries in the sending units last week when one battery died. $5 for 4 batteries and it was as simple as could be to change them out. I run the system on my trailer but more often on my DD WRX.

All of my vehicles parked inside get Battery Minders and I leave the TPMS plugged in so it stays charged. Otherwise they do run down fairly quickly even if you turn them off. The solar ones I have also have a USB port for charging.

I purchased the version you originally mentioned. I just haven't opened or installed it yet because I haven't needed my trailer.
I'm not sure I would want the bluetooth version. I use my phone for music & maps while driving so if the monitor does not have a really annoying siren I don't think I would know there was a low tire issue.
I have two eyes, but I cant watch a monitor & a map at the same time on the same phone.
