Anyone ever tow a EM (4 speed) using a tow bar connected to front bumper and the bumper support brackets.
Tow Bar comments are welcome and appreciated
Thanks

All the time!! Most remove the bumper.... Simple V is all you need.... just use a hitch that keeps the bar level.

Toe bars that clamp on the bumper can also be used, but, as always they tend to damage the chrome on the bumper.

You do not want it "strapped down".
It will follow the tow vehicle just fine.

Usually not a problem going forward.

If the car has seabelts I use it thru the wheel

With a tow bar you DO NOT tie down the steering wheel. The towed vehicle needs to steer in order to track with the towing vehicle. You can not readily back up with a vehicle behind on a tow bar as the towed vehicle will go which ever way it wants to when reversing.
