I still got all choked up when they were playing old radio coverage this morning, I was listening to the same morning show back then when it was thought to be a small plane accident at first.

Flag is flying and remembrance to those lost and injured.

I was talking to Clark's saying how a plane had just hit the first tower and watched live as the second plane hit while ordering parts. First I thought it was bad flying, as soon as second plane hit I new and said to Clark's it must be terrorists.

I was at home with my 3 year old and infant daughters that morning watching the Today show as it happened. The next three days we had the TV set up front at the NAPA I worked at. The part that really got me the most upset was when TV reporters were live showing Palestinians cheering in their streets

It's getting to be a generation in charge who are too young to remember and thus forget.

18 years for 9/11; 45 years for the fall of Saigon; 74 years for D-Day.
20 years was enough for people to somewhat forget about World War 1.

I was too busy in the garage last night to watch TV so I didn't get a feel for how much it was in the forefront.

I'm sad for the people having major health problems these days from the toxic dust and such.
I wonder if rain and time have smoothed out the dent and char in the field.
I can't imagine it was business as usual at the Pentagon.

It was weird back then after a few days when when planes started flying again.
It gives me pause today when seeing the twin towers in old movies.
It was the second Tuesday and Corvair club night. I was President and couldn't think of having a meeting like business as usual. A few people showed up but we met at the Fort Snelling Officers Club near MSP airport and it was cordoned off.

No I don't suppose I will ever forget.
