David Edwardy's Crocus Yellow '65 is exactly like the car my dad had when I was 5. But that was in Anchorage, Alaska.

I do hope to visit a future convention, not sure if it will be 2020, maybe 2021. Unless I can drive over the sea or afford to air freight my vehicle though I'm afraid I'll be without Vair.

Next year is in my neck of the woods--San Diego. Well, closer than Illinois, anyway.

Mark,

Come on out to San Diego! The San Diego Corvair Club will be happy to have you and your family have a wonderful time. Several non stop fights fro London to San Diego at reasonable prices. Even cheaper from London to L.A.
You can also find good deals on a rental car.

Mark, we have foreign visitors come to the convention all the time. This year we had two members and one of their wives show up from Australia. I have also met several of our people from the Netherlands and Germany over the years. One of them has even shared my hotel room for several conventions when his wife wasn't along.

We love visitors from across the pond, either pond, and even have members from Mexico come here. And that's not even mentioning the usual contingent who always show up from Canada. Granted, they can drive here. But even I will fly when it's more than one or two days' drive away.

So as soon as you can afford the plane ticket, do come on over.

-Mark

Your passport will get you on a plane in Boston if you don't have a "real ID" compliant driver's license.

I don't have a compliant drivers license, so use my passport card to gain admission to a plane.

BTW, if you are coming to San Diego for the 2020 convention and plan on a visit to Baja California - be sure to bring your passport for reentry to U.S.
