The red coupe is quite fixable but might not make economic sense.

Any idea where these pictures were taken? Please don't say in a garage, back yard, and on the street. I am guessing the ones in the fire belonged to a
Corvair enthusiast.

First photo showing the excellent EM front crush zone is in Upstate NY near a Byrne Dairy store.
Google Map search shows many in various locations around Syracuse, NY

I saw video of the Guys Garage burning but I don't recall the location. The owner tried to get the vert out but it got too hot but he did manage to save one sitting beside the Garage sad smiley

Requiem for my '65 Corvair convertible?? .
I had to at least try to pull her out before the flames engulfed her, but burned my hands on the rear bumper and had to give up.
The convertible was 90% complete, registered and insured, but the '65 Corsa coupe "future project" was non-op and not covered on home policy.
I managed to move the covered Corvair coupe and the rebuilt engine (on a cart) in the first video, from the flames so I wouldn't lose them too ????

Hi, Dave! Just to be clear, the fire happened at your house/garage? If so, I'm glad you are okay... The Corvairs can be replaced. Greg
