EM Bucket Seats— Switching Sides
Posted by: Chi2 ()

Hi,

My driver’s side EM bucket seat is not as firm as the passenger seat. I want to switch the passenger’s seat to the driver’s side. To do this I was going to remove the seats, swap the trim (i.e. chrome side/painted side), and then swap the lever that locks the seats on the track (controls forward/backward placement).

Without removing the seats I can’t tell if the seat track adjustment lever could be switched, or if it only bolts into one side of the bucket seat.

If someone knows if I can/can’t swap seat sides please let me know, specifically if the seat track adjustment lever would prevent this.

Thanks!

Lever is part of the Track not the seat.

You swap the seat tracks from seat to seat before installing them on the other side of the car
