Yeah, welcome to the Land of Opportunity.

You've had plenty of Corvair guys reach out to you. At least give us something, like a picture of what you're buying, where it's going, your shop, anything. It's not all Gimme!

This may be a sign that the Corvair market is rising.

When Porsche prices started rising a few years ago the forums were flooded with WTB ads. Unfortunately, many were from flippers with deceptive descriptions such as "looking for father son project", "private collector", etc.

Some owners sold for a prices lower than they could have thinking they were helping someone get into the hobby. A few weeks later the car would appear for sale on eBay or other sites.

He does have 152 posts Since August last year. So he is not a fly by night buyer.

I sold him a set of OFFY covers for his engine.

Here is where he introduced himself and his car.

OK I'll bite, I have a Rust free perfect Body 1965 Corsa 140, This is the most rust free body I have ever seen, even still has the factory paint on the floors, it has a few minor door dings but other than that its pretty much perfect, I have the car stripped down as I was going to paint it, I will include a running period correct stock 140 power pack and all the NOS parts I set aside to complete this car, this car had factory? / dealer installed? vinyl top, there is not one spec of rust on this car, $15,000.

I don't understand the "No Restorations Please" comment. Are you saying that you don't want a car that's been restored or you don't want a car if you have to restore?
