Event starts at noon, Friday October 25

Welcome Party at host hotel on Friday night.

Saturday has swap meet, car show, raffles, food and games on the field.


Saturday night banquet at the Elks Lodge.

Come Sunday morning for last minute bargains on the Field!

Pool side party was nicely attended. Chile was good! Lots of good conversation.0 Evening weather cooled down to the point it was a little too cool. Party broke up about 8:40.

I made a vid with a new nano camera, trying to figure out how to edit it, Was not that Hot Matt, actually was really nice, decent turn out, not the biggest I have seen but have seen smaller turn outs as well, I would say medium turn out this year!

What a great event! Great job CORSA West hosting this year.

Missed seeing you Matt. I was honored to be given the up front swap meet spot. Close to the food and the toilets too! Really it's a great spot. Thanks CW.

Banquet was fun. I got to meet some dear and wonderful people from the past.
Bob Helt's Daughter and her Husband. And Clay Wispell's Wife Caroline and their Daughter and Husband. We so miss Bob and Clay! It was truly wonderful seeing their family's.

I met three fellow's here from Germany. Also Corvair enthusiasts and picking up parts to take home.

I even found some FC gold!!!

Had a great time at the Toss, weather was perfect, had fun talking to venders and other vair folks. This year had some great parts and cars. I ended up buying a factory quick box and arms!!

Hope to be back next year. Thanks to Corsa West for putting on a great show and swap meet.

We were glad for the cooler temps this year and had a nice weekend. As usual, I brought parts to sell from Phoenix and then sold them to a guy from Phoenix. Even hauled them back to Phoenix for him. Service after the sale, right?

Our only downside to the event had nothing to do with the hosts or the event itself. It had to do with a dog owner who refused to keep their dog on a leash, even after it was announced that dogs were not allowed to run free. I talked to one of them about their pet wandering over to our booth and urinating on all of our stuff. They said they were sorry so I figured that was taken care of but no. A short time later it was off-leash again, wandering around the baseball field with no owner remotely in sight. We got to spend time washing and wiping dog urine off of our parts while they sat in the shade enjoying the afternoon. What is wrong with people?

Dave, there is a wonderful device that cures all issues with problem dogs.
It is only needed once and the dog will NEVER bother you again.
This item comes in several calibers, uh, I mean sizes and is very effective.
