WTB - Corvair at Convention

Hey folks,

If anyone will be selling a car at the convention I'll be looking. Preference is LM more door, manual, original survivor, original paint. I'm more of a caretaker than a restorer. Would consider any car/model based on originality.

Thanks,
Joe

I'm sure there will be a few there! And you get leads on others!

Enjoy the hunt!

The right offer might buy my 62 Monza Sedan, 29,000 mile, original paint, 84 HP/PG, too much new stuff to list, mechanically sorted, runs and drives great!

Ken - just a bit over my budget for non-original paint, but looks like a nice car.
Paul - price?

Paul,
Like your 62 sedan, please post some more pictures. What is the name of the paint color? I have been wanting an early more door.

Joe,
I hope you find what your looking for, the convention will be a great place to find one.

Good day,
The color is called silver blue. It is a cloth seat Monza with new Clark's interior. I don't have a very good series of photos of it right now. It's at the paint guy's place getting some touch-up. I have it entered in the concours this year. My first time participating in concours in 42 years of CORSA membership. I am a CORSA Grand Master concours judge. I am firmly on the fence about selling. I really have too many cars. I've been driving this a bunch lately and really falling for the way it drives. (I imagine much like a brand new Corvair drove). My price is undetermined but likely would be in the mid to upper $8,000s(??)

Thanks for your responses. If it doesn't sell at the convention, I'll post an album of photos.

Enjoy the Corvair!
