That's what I thought, so then don't fix the leaks.

I wouldn't pay to have it done. If you do it yourself it would help the sale.

I don't have a lift or anything, so that's out of the question (one of the reasons for selling)

Johnnya,
Listen to me, I sold classic cars like MG and VW bug on eBay. List it on eBay ... you need to pay a small fee but that’s like $40 or so when you sell you car. But when you sell it on eBay sell it as auction and set your min $.
People who want to buy won’t see your min$ and they start biding....

On eBay like here Be honest and explain all pros and cons about your car.
Don’t RUSH

Good luck

It's been on eBay for the past couple days. Cost $100 to list for 30 days. Decided to bite the bullet and pay since I have had good luck selling cars there in the past.

Good. Do it as an auction...

Can't change it now, it's locked in for 30 days unless I want to lose $100 ontop of everything else.

It was the darn oil filter. Clark's. It wasn't loose, the filter itself had a defect and was dumping oil.

Price is now $5999 again, very minimal leaking. Drip here and there occasionally. Just like it was before. Have all seals on hand if you ever feel the need to change them.

Always go with WIX oil filter.

I beg to differ. Clarks has very good filters and are equal to (or better than) WIX.
WIX is also a good filter; just don't use a Fram.

If the filter leaked, it was installer error.
