Your progress is looking good. I couldn't tell, were those Aldan coilovers?

Chris. In the video he says they're Aldan American coilovers with 9" springs and a spring rate of 180lbs.

Yeah, that’s why I asked if they were Aldan (for clarification). Tinnitus isn’t my friend!

Lol. Me too. Got fitted by the VA last week for hearing aids. Won't help my tinnitus but at least I can turn off the CC when I watch TV.

New Build: Project 3.8 v6 in '65 Cp
Posted by: jaime ()

Finally decided to forego stock, v8 and go for the 3.8 swap on my 65 coupe. I purchased a salvage 98 GTP automatic and plan on using as many parts as possible. The build plan is a custom cruiser for long trips. No racing. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. My email is jaigonmal@gmail.com. Thanks, Jaime Gonzalez.

Good luck with the project, sounds like a good one. I am installing a 4.3 reverse rotation, rear mount, on a PG drive train in 66 coupe. My goal is a fun cruser not a hot rod also. Sounds like the 3.8 prject my be quicker than you think.

I have only watched TV with Closed Captioning for the last ten years... Hearing aids for the last six years. Still have to watch lips. Doc says I've lost 50% of my hearing.

Getting old and having body parts get worn out is no fun. So that's why I've resolved to stay active and accomplish as much as I can while I'm still able. winking smiley
