I'm pretty sure the guy in the foreground is checking out my wife smiling smiley. While I was there I met a guy from Maine who just had a Corvair delivered to his house there. It was fun talking to him and I invited him to join the fourm, hope we see him here soon!

How does a Camaro qualify as an "Orphan"?

Of course car events are few and far between this year.

Last Saturday was a multi club open convertible cruise to Sandia Peak here in Albuquerque. The crest road is a nice climb with lots of twists and turns.
Took the family up in the '64 140 convertible. Car ran flawless and the kids had fun hiking at the top. Overall a great event with a lot of nice people.

Just a daily pic of one of my vairs being used.
Work from home most of the time but when I have to go to the office, might as well enjoy the drive.

I feel your pain Big Dave.

Took me two years to move.

From LA to Paso Robles.

It aged me ten years.

I don't do " cars & coffee " but this thing sure draws attention when I go to the parts stores and lumber yards. It's much handier than my Silverado.

Takeout for dinner tonight. A good excuse to test the fit and feel of some BBS rims and rubber I saved from an Evo 8. I worried about a rub on the front right forward fender and it was close but no touching. Steering effort is increased of course and especially noticeable after having narrow 13" tires on it all summer. I kind of like the look so far. Car is still at stock height.

17 x 8 BBS forged rims with 245/40 ZR17's, 17 lb. bare rim, 37 lb. rim + tire.
1" spacer was required to adapt to the 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern plus was needed to push the wheel further out resulting in an 11mm offset or roughly 5" back space.
