Stopped at the local "Big Box" hardware store this morning to pick up some nylon washers to use for mounting my Jr West Coast mirrors in place of a rubber gasket.
Later in the day I found an acceptable piece of rubber to make gaskets from.

It was about 8:15 A.M. and still a bit foggy out.

Looking good caraholic!! I’m partial to red late verts, that’s one really pops with those wheels.

Seeing your Monza convertible reminds me of what mine looked like 30+ years ago. Still have it but life has conspired to delay the restoration. Thanks for the encouragement your photo provided me.

65 Monza Convertible 180/4-speed

I attended the Corvair Club of Central Pennsylvania's annual event held at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs PA today.

The first photo is of the vehicles I followed from the Corvair Ranch to the event. The white van has a late rear suspension and air bags.

The second photo is my 1965 Monza convertible.

The third photo is an overall view of the vehicles in attendance.

We attended a wedding last night at the historic Davenport hotel in Spokane, WA. Drove the filthy 65 monza just because its the daily driver. Valet decided to put it right outside the entrance for everyone to see, maybe I should have at least washed it, or taken them a better example if I had known that, but still a neat surprise to come out to

Had our state fair show today. We had 17 Corvairs show up.
Didnt get many pictures, but a good one as we paraded out. Here is my new '65 corsa vert that a buddy drove to the show for me. I took my wagon and my wife drove one of the rampsides.

The Merc looks jealous, Cody! The Porsches look embarrassed!

I'm not quite sure why there's such a small battery. Last time I saw a battery this size it was in my 1980 Honda Gold Wing.

Yes, my friend Eddy was wanting to buy a new car trailer so we got that last week in Clovis, California and we left on Monday morning at 5am from Bakersfield headed to Portland, Oregon to pick up the Corvair. We got back to Bakersfield with the Corvair on the trailer Wednesday early afternoon.
