() Date: February 12, 2022 07:23PM I brought this out of long-term storage a few weeks ago and got some good freeway miles on it today in the 83F weather were having in Phoenix. We stopped at a cruise-in up in Scottsdale this evening. It's a genuine 66 Corsa 140 but a tribute car that I dressed up with goodies I had laying around to look the part of a well-worn racer. Anyone have a Stinger deck lid laying around? Ha! () Date: March 22, 2022 02:59PM Took the convertible out for some exercise (Test drive) after work today. After having replaced the fuel pump last Friday after work then having it stall out on me Saturday while idling (Testing the pump) in front of the garage while I was doing other chores, I was somewhat concerned about making a trip on a colder day. Today was warmer so I ventured out and drove about fifteen miles to visit nearby family, hung out for an hour or so then stopped for a Milk Shake on the way home. The car seems to be running a bit rich and is likely why it stalled out on Saturday. My guess is it loaded up and that caused it to stop running and not want to re-start. Sunday it started but ran rough, but I only drove it far enough to put it away. Today when it started, it idled rough. Once it warmed up and I was on the road, I had a chance to blow it out some. It seems to be running better but I'll need to address the fuel air mixtures. I made the thirty mile round trip without incident so I am happier today than I was Saturday. 1962 95 F.C. () Date: April 07, 2022 09:44AM Yes,....I remember that place too well!! I drove thru Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona with NO issues. When I hit that station on the California border, issues started. I had to surrender to them my few snack oranges and apples before they would let me enter and continue on, when I went to the GWFBT last October. Imagine that!....haha Stan, Southwest Missouri Re: ![]() ![]() Posted by:
