I keep on looking at the ad and saying "Hmmmmmmm......"

Before giving me your best opinion on what it's worth keep in mind that it will be at least $1600 to transport it from San Jose to New Orleans.

Thanks for your opinions.

Someone in our Silicon Valley CORSA club could examine it. You did note that the original 390 motor is replaced by a 289 and the badge was replaced as well, right?

5800 produced Hagerty says $10k.... "driver Quality" is a RED FLAG....as is a DEALER

AS is AC not working and they'd like $16k... These cars are simple to fix.

67's for sale

Yes, not an issue for me. I prefer the lightweight "thin wall" 289 to the wide, heavy FE 390 engine in this car.

Yes, the "driver quality" quote also made me go "Hmmmmmmmmm."

That the factory A/C system is there is a plus (for me), not working properly is a negative here in perpetually hot & humid New Orleans.

$12k? How motivated is the seller? Looks rust free, but those quarters could be full of mud.

Nice options, color is meh. Ram style power steering on these are problematic. The 390 was likely donated to a GT clone. Looks like it still has its 9 inch rear.

It would be nice if it was a little more original, but being loaded out is kinda rare.

Half the money of a comparable el Camino.

SD: Agree on all that you have mentioned here! Thanks for your comments. If YOU had it up for sale; I'd be more confident in it.

I wonder if, being a 390 chassis, if the brakes are any larger diameter than the usual just-barely-adequate Falcon brakes?

Without having someone check it out in person, I am dubious about it.

I like it; just don't trust it.

Know what I mean?
