REPORTS!! 35th Tristate Meet Alamosa, CO May 17-19th
Posted by: MattNall ()
Date: April 14, 2019 03:04PM

Hosted by The Pikes Peak Corvair Club, Colorado Springs, Colorado, this year's Tri-State Meet will be held in beautiful Alamosa, Colorado. Located at a comfortable elevation of 7543', Alamosa's climate and spectacular natural resources make it a perfect choice for our yearly get together. Saturday morning we hold our public “Show ’n Shine” event at Cole Park. This is a kid friendly event and the public is welcome to come out, look at the cars, chat with the owners, and cast their vote for "Best In Show". Any questions, please email Ed Halpin @ halpin.corvair@comcast.net . For more information on the Pikes Peak Corvair Club check out our website @: [www.corvair.org]

This is a great meet to attend, especially if you've never been to one. Plenty of friendly folks and usually over 100 Corvairs are there. Cathy and I have attended the last few and really enjoy the event.

Hello Matt and all: I notice your bump but
the only two CCF folks I am familiar with was
Tim Shortle and myself. I took a few pics of
the cars in the park but no time to fool
around with sending them from place to place
for sizing etc. I took none inside the banquet
or other places.

I heard 42 cars in the show n shine Sat morning.
I did not hear a person count.

It snowed/rained and sleeted on the roads going
to Alamosa. It drizzled in Alamosa and temps
were low 40s for highs plus cloudy and stiff
breeze constantly.

Sorry all, the best I can do.

best wishes, Steve
