Hi Mark,

I know you have to get the MoreDoor 'back on the road' but I just wanted you (and anyone who might be interested) to see what can be done for a custom dash! smileys with beer

The one item I left out was the price!

$1400 US was the total price for the VHX Series Custom Dash Display for my '67 MoreDoor Corvair. drinking smiley

In case it hasn't become obvious, I LOVE LM 4-Door ("MoreDoor") CORVAIRS!!! grinning smiley

The price of my "Custom Dash" was a little higher than the 'off-the-shelf' units (the one I wanted 'modified' for the Corvair was $895) but I could not be happier with the results. I think that IF the Corvair community started going with the Dakota Digital displays the price will drop.

If anyone is interested I am more than happy to talk your ears off! hot smiley

One low-cost improvement you can do for the stock Corsa dash is LED bulbs for the panel lights, blinkers, and brights indicator. Really livens it up for low cost. Google "superbrightleds". First thing I do on all my old cars.

I have been EXTREMELY disappointed in "SuperBrightLeds"! angry smiley
Don't think I would ever use them again.
I bought some switchback L.E.D.s from them and within a week or two they started flickering.
When I tried to contact the company, all I could reach was the "technical advice" bozo.
Some creep in India that kept insisting that my problem was due to the lack of a Canbus!
Try as I might to explain that my car does NOT require a Canbus, that was the only solution that was listed in the trouble shooting flow-chart that SBL provided to him.
If the company says Canbus, on a 1960's car, then it must be the Canbus!
There was no way to actually reach a REAL representative of SuperBrightLeds!
Worst customer service EVER ! ! !
Would NOT suggest anyone ever use them!

I've never had a problem with them, but then again I've never had to contact them either. I've bought LED'S from other companies and they were crap. I believe every led I've bought from Superbright is still working, and that goes back 6 years now....
