1965, 66, & 67 Sedan Two tone paint codes on Fisher Trim tags

I was updating some files and ending up cleaning up the formatting on some data breaking out two tone color codes as listed on the paint line on the fisher trim tags.

I thought I would list it here for future searches... These are the factory approved two tone combo's anything else would be dealer painted or a special paint order.

My '67 Monza 4dr had a factory "CD" two tone. I considered it a Dealer Special Order or COPO because the combination wasn't listed for a '67 Monza anywhere I could find. Somewhere I have a picture of the trim tag. I'll have to look for it.

My 65 Sedan was a DC, the opposite combo of Craig's. Mine has since been painted solid color, but still retains the trim.

Eric,

I assume your 65 Sedan was a Monza and not a 500?

Seems I beat you to the punch, Rick. Did a chart similar to that many years ago. I also did a complete listing of all the paint and trim combos and codes, and put it on google sheets:

[docs.google.com]

Also did a "related" chart just for fun:

Mark...that's why I take a screen shot of my Excel file and save it as a JPEG to post...

I have used your awesome interior and paint code chart for years. I have it with all my notes and reference it often.

Craig...please find that Trim tag image and post.... I was surprised to find I didn't already have it as part of my tag collection.

Rick,

Shows you my limits on computers! LOL Glad you like my google-posted charts. I have a lot more data charts than that, including production numbers and percentages, which are fascinating when you do a data sort. Next time you have a need for some data on any aspect of the Corvair, just ask me. I may be able to save you some work.

I figure knowledge is useless unless it's spread around. One exception I have to that, though is the window sticker file. I used to send out some earlier copies of the file, but it became too complex to just give away, and besides, I might as well get some payback for all the many hours I spent developing it. It's now so sophisticated that it'll make just about as perfect a copy of the factory sticker as you can get for the price. The '69 sticker is so good, it takes a real expert to tell the difference. (All the rest rely on Jim Osborn sticker blanks, which are not accurate to one degree or another.)

And thanks for the shot of the COPO body tag! Eric and Craig, please follow suit! grinning smiley
