Looks pretty decent and a fair price.

What a find. If I had a Rampy this would be on it in a Heartbeat. One of 6 or is it one of 12. This one still seems to have the markings from the fab shop in Sacramento.

Wow. It looks like it's in great condition for being about over 50 years old!

I have no intention of installing one on my Rampy. Besides I also already have a Greenbrier. But this would be well worth a road trip to pick up for someone.thumbs up

Sorry Dave, it is not really all that old.
At best it is from about 1986, but is probably much newer.
They still make that style of aluminum "truck topper" even today.
They are one of the most affordable to buy, and one of the CHEAPEST to manufacture, of all truck canopies.
Simple hand welded aluminum frame, with thin sheet aluminum skin.
No compound curves.
I am sure that the owner is not lying when he says, "Super rare and was told very few ever made."
It was probably a one-off custom made and I am positive that indeed very few were made.

Apparently they are still in business.
Even so, if you have a Rampy, and want a canopy with the side hatch, this is a great opportunity to get one!
