This 38/38 DGV carburetor is a clone of the Weber. The materials, construction, internals, form, fit and function are excellent. Weber jets fit perfectly and this carb was running strong on my Spyder.
Parts included - 38/38 DGV carb, Redline bolt pattern adapter plates, low profile air cleaner, Weber jetting kit & Eelco Stromberg WW manifold (bolts directly to turbo intake).
The 38/38 DGV choke plate has been machined off and a custom plate with angled stacks is bolted on in place using th stock gasket and retains the bottom of the air filter assembly. The bolt adapter kit has been ported to match both the DGV carb and the Stromberg manifold for smooth transitions.
This kit will fit both EM & LM turbos and removes the intake restrictions inherent with the YH set up. There might be a clearance issue when used on an EM - the custom "upswept" aluminum adapter that can be seen in 1st photo was used to preclude any interference with deck lid. Your LM should not have the clearance issue but I don't have an LM to test fit so YMMV.
When I had it running a few months ago the idle RPM was 1000rpm and it pulled easily and made boost up to the wastegate setting of 11-12psi with F/B flow turbo. Idle AFR 15.5. Light load AFR 13.9. Acceleration AFR 13.3. Boost AFR 11.5. 38/38 DGV Jet info shown.
