electronics ? Keeping COPIES of posts

I will admit I am not only old but very old fashioned , I am inclined to think a telephone has to have a crank on it ! On occasion there are posts on the forum that would be worth saving in my files , but I find no way to make a copy of those articles , if there is a way, please tell me how. (ring two longs a one short to get my phone ) Thanks , Larry Cooper

Larry, What system are you using? Windows Apple Chromebook?

What Web Browser are you using? Edge, Chrome, FireFox, Safari ??

When we know we can walk you thru it.

I run Windows... I use Chrome to view the Web / Internet

Here I bring up the topic...Page 1 [ if more than one page ]

Upper right corner of Chrome I click on the 3 dots... and select PRINT

In the print window that pops up I select "Print as "PDF" and name the file accordingly, and save it to the appropriate FOLDER..

Do this for each page if there is more than one.

Larry, do you know how to highlight text?
You can start at the lower right corner and drag to the upper left; then RIGHT click and Copy.

Then you can RIGHT click and Paste it into an email addressed to your own email account. Send and you're done. Don't forget to describe the topic properly.

You can also send yourself a private message here the same way and save it.
Obviously, not too many so the capacity of the server isn't overwhelmed.

What Matt said. PDF will keep all the photos in the file, too.

First, on the white top header, far right - select "Print View"

PRINT keyboard shortcut is CTRL+P which opens the PRINT Preview window.
Select "Save as PDF" instead of choosing an actual printer.

I tried to call you on my crank box, but the operator said the line was busy, so I sent a carrier pigeon over. Be sure and reply! smoking smiley
You ain't too old I see - saving files for future reference. I bet you buy green bananas, too! thumbs up OLD Folks RULE! Get Used to It, SnowFlakes! thumbs up
