Jennifer Long asked me to spread the word there will be a huge corvair parts garage sale at her father's property February 23rd and 24th. I will have a few pics to post later within this next week but Mr. Long has a huge hoard of parts ready for all of you corvair pickers out there . Here's the address

There are motors and tins and suspensions , wheels , glass , interior parts , and just about everything a corvair guy or gal would stash away. Some new some refurbished , some high performance , lots of stock stuff . Bring a friend and come treasure hunt for yourselves.

Um yeah but the Ultravan and the Rampside Camper are already sold. I guess everything else is for sale.

There seems to be random parts all over the side yard, and parts, doors, bench seats in the Ultravan (locked) and hoods and heads outside but most of that stuff is tangled up in flowers and weeds.

The parts in the Ultravan are protected from the elements and there appears to be two somewhat complete engines in the Rampside camper.

There are five early model corvairs in various states of rust outside and falling apart. I think some can be saved but somebody more knowledgeable than me should look at them.

I am not sure what the two engines are in the Rampside camper for or whats the deal with them.

What would be a fair price to ask for something like that?

Looks like a decent 64 on the other side of that 700 model. Although I am only seeing a one sided view.

Going back over there tomorrow fred with my 17 year old son. My back is Killing me he can dig for a little while. haha.

I can try and take some more pictures if you want? When I resize photos to post what should I make them I do 650x650 and it looks like crap!

So far, that 64 is looking like the best of the bunch from my short sighted viewpoint. Of course its easy to critique something while sitting in my easy chair warm and fuzzy by the fireplace. LOL!!!

Parts in San Diego. Got to be warm there, even outside. no need for fireplace.

One of those engines has 12 plate oil cooler. If both are 164 cu in, they have possible good parts. Especially if stored inside in the low humidity west.

Out here in the east we consider cars in that condition ready for paint!
