Posted by: Phil Dally ()

Some pictures from yesterdays road trip came out blurry.

Any help appreciated so we can get the info in the Registry.

This is one of the Rampsides for sale in Scotts Valley, Calif.

Phil,
What Year Rampside?

I'm 90% sure that the Paint begins with 5. Which makes it 1962 or later.
Looks like 538G to me which would be Balboa(dk.)Blue with White stripe for the Rampside series.

Do I "win"!? Do you remember what colors it might have originally been?

Phil,

Ask the seller/owner to take fresh pictures????

Suppose you thought of that.

And I usually (but not always) check my phone pictures right away. Have walked away with bad pictures sometimes also.

Thanks Dan...they are both 1961's per their VIN's.

But the one with this Data Plate has a rain gutter.

Which we have figured out was a late 1961 change.

It is in fact blue but light blue not dark blue.

It seems to be all original with 80hp F/C motor.

Can anybody try to make out the trim codes?

When I say us I mean we can help the seller.

Seems like there was an L in that code.

It didn't say STD nor was there a Z.

Phil
The DeLuxe code for the 1961-'62 FC was 431 - not Z60 as the later ones...

See Steve Spilatro's chart on Corvanatics fabulous website
