Boost amounts in different vehicles isn't really a good comparison. My truck runs 28psi and is a slug.

Yep, I only run 7.5 psi in my 5.0 due to its stock internals. Still over 600 hp at the crank now though.

True, flow is more important than psi. I am running a "larger" turbo on the BMW so it has good flow.

With my BMW it is the same displacement as the corvair, but put down 375 hp 412 torque at the wheels on the dyno. No way would that be sustainable on the street with a vair.
