Shout out for BaT. Great experience with this site selling my Rampside. Auction had 11,000 views and 600 watching. Lots of comments. Good communication with staff throughout the auction.

I sold a Greenbrier through BaT awhile back. The experience was great once it went live. Didn't love that they wrote the description, but it worked out so I shouldn't complain.

Glad your sale went well!

BAT is pretty awesome from what I hear. The biggest driver of price on auctions seems to be complete and honest descriptions and the seller being johnny on the spot with responses to comments.

That's how dad sold his '64 a few years ago now. Didn't even know about them, but someone found our ad on Craigslist and posted it up on Bring-a-Trailer.

And someone did! Bring a trailer that is...

BarnFinds $50

Hmm, I'll have to re-remember that then, but I was sure it was BAT.
At the time it was a very simple single column listing with pictures, without much fanfare or fluff. And I'd never heard of it until someone e-mailed me and said they'd seen the listing somewhere other than where I had it listed.

Doubt I would have any of the old e-mails I got, so probably no way to remember truly what site it was then.

Thanks for the clarification Matt.
Any chance BAT was simpler and did not charge a few years ago? This was probably 2009 or so I guess.

It might have been Bring a Trail if that was a few years ago. They got their start as a site that wrote up posts on interesting for sale ads from across the web. They transitioned to having their own auctions in the last few years.

Thanks. That sounds exactly like what I remember back then.
Guess they found a better way to make money at their trade.

I saw that one over Christmas. Pretty cool but that's a lot of money to spend on that thing.

Crazy!
$47K for a BRAT ! ? ! ?
It is in pretty good shape, but at the end of the day, it is still a SUBARU ! ! !
