FS: 1966 Tail/Backup Light Wedding Band Rings
Posted by: Lane66m ()

For Sale: 1966 Tail/Backup Light Wedding Band Rings.

I have 3 of the wedding band rings. One is mounted on a nice Glo-Brite backup lite lens. One has a couple spots that would require it to be rechromed to make it right.

$100 plus shipping.

PM me, if interested.

Yikes Mel. I think I just fond the funding for my race car. I have a dozen or so of the complete lenses that are all perfect. I am not sure I want to let go of them though. That makes them worthless!

I think nowadays the rarity of a wedding band is one that stays on, in one place.
Now that's priceless.......

My folks have been married to each other(a first time for each of them) for 63 years this last summer.
They married 10 days after my mothers 19th birthday.
Dad still refers to her as his "Teen-aged Bride." cool smiley

A guy in my lodge has you beat. Been married to the same lady for 70 years, before the wife passed away last year. He celebrated his 91st birthday just last summer.eye popping smiley

I hope I make it that long. Birthdays, that is. I should live so long as to have a mate.sad smiley

Not selling for now. I have acquired a couple more lenses with wedding band rings. I will probably post them later on, after I set my Baits up with the best lenses I can put on them.

I am still looking for one each very good to excellent brake and backup lens with wedding band, but want original Guide lenses. I have wedding bands, but two of my lenses are cracked or chipped too much. Even an excellent lens with no trim ring on it would work as I can put the wedding bands on myself.

I will keep this discussion in my followed list. When I get to the lenses and get them all figured out and installed. I will know what I have. Then you will be first I will PM about the wedding band style lenses and rings I have.

Just buy repro lenses from Clark’s (when they reopen) and swap out the rings. No problem and you get nice new plastic.

Thanks Mike.

Duane Wentlandt tried to get the Clark's rings off some repros and couldn't. We even tried to see if Clark's had some that rings had come off of, but they didn't have any. Maybe I'll chance it and order some wide ring repros and see if we have better luck on different ones.
