I really like those screens. However when camping with my Greenbrier, I found that regular nylon window screen material held in place with rubberized magnet strips on the inside window frames actually works great. And the bigger advantage the nylon screen rolls up nice taking up little space when not used. The framed screens have to be stored where they won't get bent or damaged. Also the price for the nylon screen and magnet's is about $10.00!

Dave,

Such a simple idea that I never thought of!

Thanks for mentioning it.

Now, about that long extension cord for the Air Conditioner (Texas Camping tends to be HOT!)

There is a set currently on flea bay with a starting bid set at $350.00 which means they just might not see much action. I could be wrong but time will tell.

eBay item number:202794535422 The seller ID is 64vanman , The ad has ten photo's but I chose these three. The below was Cut and pasted from the ad:

"Stop drooling on your keyboard!

Corvair Greenbrier Deluxe Window Screens Full Set +1. There are a total of 5 window screens.

I purchased 2 of these as NOS, in the box. Box is included.

There are 2 driver's side screens and 2 passenger's side screens. The only difference between the two is the mounting brackets. Driver's side has flush mount brackets, passenger's side has 90 degree brackets. The fifth screen has brackets that appear to be passenger's side, but have been clumsily flattened for driver's side use.

One of the NOS screens has damage (pictured), and one of the used screens also has damage (pictured).

All frames have tarnish. Yes, even the NOS ones, as they are over half a century old. A little polish should make them look new.

The used screens have some residue on one side which I assume is from self adhesive weatherstripping. I'm guessing it could all be removed with some effort.

All 5 screen frames have the correct, original STA-GON stamping on them (pictured).

Do I need to say it? These are unbelievably rare. You'll never see a whole set plus a spare again.

I couldn't put up every picture, but all of the important ones are there, and if you need more, just ask.

Free shipping to the lower 48 and internationally through ebays global shipping program.

I will not take offers on this item, sorry. There is no reserve.

No returns."
