How would that wing affect air into the engine bay?

It looks cool but I imagine it would be as difficult to park as my 2014 Camaro SS/RS. The nose is long and dips down where you can't see exactly where the right front corner ends.

Considering how high, and far back it is, I doubt it would make any difference.
But, I think the nose needs to have more drop, and less turn-up on the bottom.
I once owned an exotic looking kit car with a nose like that. It looked really cool, but would get a LOT of lift at speed.
While an interesting design study, I personally think that Mopar designs belong on Mopars.

One of my dream projects when I win the lottery and stop wasting time on the computer would be to narrow and fit the nose cone of an '82-'92 Camaro to a late model. Not sure if you could stay with round headlamps or if a rectangular version would be necessary. Anyone have a graphics program to show me what it would look like?

I have to agree with American Mel, that front end would lift like crazy without other aero devices.

Along similar lines, a story on the original early '60s Corvette Gran Sport Coupes and Roadsters that it's "pointed" nose design caused the GS cars to lift at speed, making them a bit scary.

Still they were one bad ass looking Vette.

There are some pictures floating around here, where someone grafted on a later (Vega based) Monza front-end onto a Corvair.
The nose job didn't actually look too bad, it was the other horrid things they did that ruined the car.
I personally think that the Monza nose would look better than the Camaro due to the fact that the Monze had some curve to it, whereas the Camaro is rather Squarish. Just my $0.02

Just for fun, and in keeping within the topic of "Superbird" comparisons, I recently saw these advertised for sale. The Red one is a 2009 Supercharged Hemi and the Blue one is a more economical version.

Never cared for the recent Challengers, too bland and slab sided for me, but Fiat keeps cranking up the horsepower. I really like the nose on these, and the exhaust tips on the red car are kind of cool. Were these from someone using poetic license, or did Petty have a hand in the modifications?

I can't say one way or another if the Petty organization had anything to do with this particular car or not but, I did do a search and came up with an article by autoblog that seems to indicate that Petty may have been involved with some of them at least. [www.autoblog.com] You can read the article and form your own opinion if so inclined.

Here is another link suggesting that Petty's Garage and Heide Performance teamed up to build these cars.
