FOUND!! Wheel spacers EM 1" thick
Posted by: Charlie Kelly ()

Hey everyone, does anyone know of a set of wheel spacers for an early model? I need 4 lug spacers of about an inch. I bough some Geo wheels and they rub the tie rods just enough to prevent steering without extreme effort (they double as an E brake on a hill).

Last I checked there were a lot of them on eBay. 1" that you don't have to cut. They were marked as the metric bolt pattern. IIRC

You'll need lug nuts for them but don't buy the nuts on eBay. I bought 3 sets recently and they were all junk. I didn't buy the cheapest and I bought ones that claimed all kinds of good things about the quality.

1 inch spacers are what I used on my 64, from eBay, worked perfect and used them for years now.

Alright thanks guys, as a rule I never trust parts that pop up on google when it comes to Corvairs without a second opinion.
