The extra engine in my parts Greenbriar turned over easily. I pulled all the plugs squirted oil in each hole and turned it over a few revs..it looks like either a real clean used engine or rebuilt..has all new plugs oil filter and fan belt..no grease anywhere. The oil is a little off color but then I don't know how long it's been sitting..???

more engine pics plus the parts van engine looks complete..the crankcase has what looks like gear oil in it so I suspect the extra engine was meant for the parts van..I just don't know how long ago..

I'd oil the cylinders, clean out the pan, oil valve guides and rocker tips, pre-lube with drill motor. A little extra time could save a good engine from a dry start. JMHO

Hear ya..definitely will...I've already put oil in spark plug holes and turned the motor by wrench but I'm a little afraid the oil will all just settle to the bottom on this flat motor..
